These terms apply when a business buys a Valuation Studio subscription.
Valuation Studio is supplied by The Upgrade Authority Ltd, company number 13983241, registered in England and Wales at Henleaze House Business Centre, 13 Harbury Road, Henleaze, Bristol, England, BS9 4PN. Contact hello@theupgradeauthority.co.uk about your account or this agreement. You means the business named in your order. The person placing the order must be an adult authorised to act for that business. This offer is for business use. It is not intended for a personal consumer purchase, and nothing here removes a right that the law requires us to honour.
Your agreement consists of the order shown at checkout, these subscription terms and our data processing agreement. Our privacy notice explains how we handle our own account, security and billing records. An order is accepted when payment is confirmed and we make the subscription available. We record the offer and terms version accepted. Keep the order confirmation and a copy of these terms. The current version is studio-paid-2026-09-07.
The monthly plan costs £99 plus VAT where applicable and includes one Studio workspace for your business, with up to 250 generated property reports in each paid billing period. The available features and any separately priced services are shown before purchase. You can use your branding on the hosted page and website widgets, manage enquiries and conversations, and export your enquiry records. You must control, or have permission to configure, each website where you install the tool. A custom domain also depends on successful ownership and hosting verification. No subscription promises that a particular domain name will be available.
A report uses one unit when it is successfully generated and saved. Retrying the same completed request does not use another unit. A report with limited local evidence still counts when it contains usable evidence and is saved; a failed generation does not. The allowance is shared across your workspace and resets with the next paid billing period. Unused units do not carry over. Reaching the allowance stops new report generation until it resets. It does not cause an automatic overage charge or remove reports already saved. Deleting a report or enquiry does not restore a used unit.
Payment is collected monthly in advance through Stripe. Checkout shows the total, including any VAT, before you confirm. You authorise the recurring payment shown in your order until the subscription is cancelled. Your billing page provides access to invoices, payment details, the current period and cancellation. Keep your business and tax information accurate. Stripe handles payment card information; do not send card details to us by email or through a property conversation.
A pilot is separate from this subscription. Joining or using a pilot does not authorise payment, and a pilot never converts automatically. Failed or incomplete payment does not activate a paid allowance. If a later payment fails, new reports may pause while the payment is resolved. We will not silently move you to a different paid plan or add a charge for extra reports. A price increase requires at least 30 days’ notice and applies only to a future billing period, so you can cancel before it takes effect.
You can cancel through your Studio billing page at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period and stops future renewals. Until then, you may use the remainder of that period’s allowance. If you cannot access billing, contact us before the renewal you want to stop; we will record the request and help complete it. A cancellation confirmation states when it takes effect.
Ordinary cancellation does not refund a period already started or convert unused report units into a cash balance. This does not affect a refund required by law, an incorrect or duplicate charge, or a remedy for our failure to provide the agreed service. Tell us promptly about a billing mistake. If we end the paid service for our own business reasons, or cannot correct a material service failure within a reasonable time, you may end the affected subscription and receive a proportionate refund of prepaid fees for the unavailable remainder.
The reports provide market evidence with a stated source, geography, date and method. Area benchmarks are not a valuation of an individual property. Advertised nightly rates do not prove booked income or occupancy. Revenue scenarios depend on the assumptions and exclusions shown. Evidence may be incomplete, revised or temporarily unavailable. The assistant can make mistakes and is not a qualified surveyor, financial adviser or legal adviser.
Your business supplies its own property assessment and professional advice. Preserve the reports’ evidence qualifications when showing or sharing them. Removing optional Upgraded Intelligence attribution must not remove source dates, coverage or limitations. Do not present a report as a mortgage valuation, survey, guaranteed sale price or guaranteed income. We do not promise a number of leads, appraisals, instructions or a financial return.
You remain responsible for your business details, branding, content, website permissions, customer privacy notice and lawful follow up. A request for a property report is not consent to unrelated marketing. Respect each visitor’s choices. Keep account access secure and tell us promptly if it may have been compromised. Do not submit passwords, identity documents, payment details, special category personal data or criminal offence information through the property tools.
Do not use Studio for misleading claims, unlawful discrimination, harassment, resale of the evidence database, automated extraction, circumventing allowances or accessing another customer’s information. Your business keeps its rights in its branding and customer content. You permit us to host, display and process it to deliver, support and protect the service. We and our licensors retain rights in the software, methods and underlying databases. You may use reports generated for your business in your customer conversations, subject to their evidence and source restrictions.
We will provide the service with reasonable care and skill and take reasonable steps to resolve reported faults. Contact us through the details above for support. No particular response time or availability percentage is promised unless stated in a separate written service agreement. Authorised support staff may open a Studio to investigate an issue. Support access requires a reason, expires after a limited period and records the staff member and actions. It does not give staff the customer’s login or permission to purchase, cancel or change payment details through customer support access.
Maintenance, supplier outages and events outside our reasonable control may interrupt a feature. We will take reasonable steps to limit the effect and restore it. An interruption does not remove our responsibility for the agreed service or any remedy described here. We may make changes that improve or secure the service. A material reduction to the purchased service requires notice and a reasonable opportunity to end the affected subscription before the reduction takes effect.
We may restrict access where payment is overdue, the account is compromised, continued operation would create a legal or security risk, or there is a material breach of this agreement. Where practicable and safe, we will explain the problem and give a reasonable opportunity to resolve it. A necessary restriction should be proportionate to the issue. Serious misuse or an uncorrected material breach may lead to termination.
You may request return or deletion of your customer data under the data processing agreement. Export what your business needs before closing the workspace. Closing Studio does not automatically delete a login shared with another Upgraded product. We may retain limited billing, security or legal records where there is a lawful reason, as explained in the privacy notice. An existing payment obligation for a service already provided is not removed merely by deleting an account.
Neither party excludes liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that the law does not permit to be excluded or limited. Subject to that, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, or loss of anticipated profit or business opportunity. Each party’s total liability arising from the agreement in a 12 month period is limited to the greater of £1,000 and the subscription fees paid or payable for that period. This limit does not reduce a person’s rights under data protection law or remove either party’s obligation to comply with that law. Every limitation applies only to the extent it is lawful and reasonable in the circumstances.
Contact us first so that we can investigate a problem. English and Welsh law governs this agreement, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory right that applies. A material change to the subscription terms will be notified in advance and will not retrospectively change the order you already accepted. A separately agreed written order takes priority where it expressly changes these terms. If a term cannot be enforced, the remaining terms continue to apply.
